The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board will hold a public hearing on an Agreed Board Order with American Synthetic Rubber Company. ASRC is alleged to have violated District Regulation 5.01 (General Provisions) District Regulation 5.15 (Chemical Accident Prevention Provisions) and District Regulation 5.21 (Environmental Acceptability for Toxic Air Contaminants) at the facility located at 4500 Camp Ground Road in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
Written comments from the public will be accepted by the Board, Rachael Hamilton, Secretary-Treasurer, 701 W. Ormsby Ave. Suite 303, Louisville, KY 40203, until 5:00 p.m. February 19, 2019. Written comments will also be accepted electronically until the same deadline at the e-mail address mailto:airorders @ louisvilleky.gov. Oral comments will be accepted at the public hearing on February 20, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 701 W. Ormsby Ave., Louisville.
